GUIDELINES TO BE FOLLOWED IN AWARDING

TRENTON UNITED METHODIST CHURCH SCHOLARSHIPS

 

 

Each applicant must be a member of Trenton United Methodist Church.

 

The completed application, two letters of reference, a transcript, and a one-page essay on why the Trenton United Methodist Church should award you a scholarship must be in the hands of a Scholarship Committee member on or before May 15.  One letter of reference must be from a teacher of the applicant.  A previous scholarship recipient need only submit a completed application.

 

Each applicant will be interviewed after May 15.

 

All applicants will be notified of the awarding of a scholarship on or before June 1.

 

The scholarship will be made payable to the institution and applicant.

 

The decision of the committee is final.

 

A scholarship may be awarded to a high school senior and/or a student presently enrolled in college.  High school seniors will be given priority in the selection process.
